motoguo’s Spring/Summer 2021 Collection Is A Celebration Of Life

motoguo draws on the subtlety of life surrounding them for its latest Spring/Summer 2021 offering. Inspiring stories of their close friends and their own are taken into account creating layers of emotions. It is summed up, resulting to the very essence of the collection — an ode to love, happiness and blessedness. “See the light at the end of the tunnel? Walk towards it to see that the dark is what makes everything else shine,” share with optimism by creative directors Moto Guo and Kinder Eng. 

Indeed, the pieces are true embodiment of the bright side of life manifested through the choices of colours, textures and forms. It is whimsical and playful with a hint of romanticism — an aesthetic that has always been at the core of the brand. The collection also highlights motoguo’s vision of creating a world with fluid and genderless fashion.

For its campaign, the brand worked with their long-time collaborator, Zhong Lin. “By working closely with us, she has graced us with a fresh vision of motoguo through her unique palate and eye for peculiarity,” shares Guo, echoing Eng. The images feature diverse cast, each face comes with a story to tell, fostering individuality. This season, motoguo is inviting us, “Come to us, We Celebrate You.” 

motoguo is an eponymous label, founded in 2015 by Moto Guo and business partner, Jay Perry Ang, with Kinder Eng as Guo’s personal assistant. In 2016, Eng was appointed as the second creative director.
